Cortana, your personal assistant, can help you get things done in more ways, and on more devices, than ever before. Cortana helps you with tasks like sending emails, scheduling events, and searching your devices, the cloud, or the web. And because your life isn’t limited to one device, neither is she.

This week, we’re excited to announce that Cortana is integrating even further with Microsoft Band and Microsoft Health to help you live healthier and achieve more.

Android phone users can get Cortana on Microsoft Band

If you have an Android phone*, Cortana can now assist you directly from your Microsoft Band.

With the Cortana Tile, you can ask Cortana questions directly from your band when you press and hold the Action button. She’ll answer you on your band’s display. She’s also great at reminders, delivering them at the right time and place.

Android phone users can start getting Cortana’s help in answering questions and managing reminders by downloading the Cortana app from Google Play. Then download the Cortana Tile to your band from the Manage Tiles menu in the Microsoft Health app.

Cortana can help you live healthier on your phone or Windows 10 PC

Cortana is now also integrated with Microsoft Health, so anyone with a Microsoft Health account can ask Cortana about their Microsoft Health activities whether on a phone* or Windows 10 PC. She can quickly answer questions about your data like, “How many steps did I take yesterday?” and “How was my sleep last night?”

Cortana learns about you over time based on the information you provide in your notebook. To integrate Cortana with your Microsoft Health account, add Microsoft Health to your Cortana notebook. Go to your Cortana notebook menu and choose Connected Accounts. From there, connect Cortana to your Microsoft Health account. To interact with Cortana on your phone, download the Cortana app in your app store. Cortana is available on select iPhones, Android phones, and Windows Phones*, in the US.

* Cortana only available with Android 4.4 or later, iPhones with iOS 8.0 or later, or Windows Phone 8.1 update or later, in the US. Cortana compatibility with Microsoft Band available on Android or Windows Phones.
